Motorrad Riders Meetup Ride Thame to Blackbird Café, 11 members.
We were again lucky with the weather, warmer than the February ride, although it was still a sightly chilly start, but sunny, clear and no rain. The route consisted of a few A roads, but predominantly single track lanes, from Thame though Chinnor, Fingest and onto the Maker Space Café at Nuffield. One lane just by Assendon, had deteriorated significantly in the last few days and had mud on the road from some recent floods and it had broken up a bit (Still it got a lovely new shiny R1300GS off-road!). At the end of the lane, we met a delivery van going down a steep hill, no passing places and he could not reverse up the hill, as it was too slippery. A few minutes of logistical challenge soon had us back on the way the café, and plenty to talk and laugh about.
From the Maker Space Café, we went through Nuffield and Pangbourne, mostly small lanes, except a section through Aldermaston, and onto the Blackbird Café for lunch, who were very accommodating and good food.

Just over half the group joined the return ride, back to Thame, consisting of more lovely country lanes and single track lanes, through Buckleberry, Aldworth, Streatley and Ewelme. Several dropped off on the way back toward home. We arrived back in Thame with 4 riders at about 4pm.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the day and the weather held all day. Win Win!
