Motorrad Riders Weekender – ‘South West 500’
4th & 5th September 2026
Ready for 500 miles of some of the UK’s best riding roads?
Join Motorrad Riders this September for an unforgettable two-day adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of Devon and Cornwall. The South West 500 is all about the ride — sweeping coastal curves, wild moorland stretches, and flowing A and B roads — with perfectly timed fuel and refreshment stops to keep the momentum going.
🏍️ Day One – Coastlines & Atlantic Views (Approx. 250 miles)
We’ll kick things off on Friday 4th September with an optional organised group departure from Solstice Park Costa (A303 westbound), aiming to leave at 10:00.
From there, it’s a ride west towards Taunton before carving our way along the spectacular North Devon coast to a lunch stop near Lynton. Expect stunning scenery as we sweep through Exmoor, roll into Barnstaple, and join the legendary A39 towards Bude.
After a fuel and refreshment stop in Bude, we’ll continue along the Atlantic Highway through Boscastle and Tintagel before turning south at Wadebridge and heading to our overnight stop in St Austell.
By the end of the day, you’ll have enjoyed around 250 miles of flowing, scenic riding.

We’ll be staying at the Premier Inn St Austell, where 15 double rooms have been reserved for the group.

🏞️ Day Two – Moorlands, Jurassic Coast & Fast Dorset Roads (Approx. 250 miles)
Saturday’s ride takes us cross-country through Lostwithiel, Liskeard and Tavistock before enjoying fantastic moorland riding across Dartmoor.
We’ll roll into Exeter and then pick up the A3052 coastal road, tracing the stunning Jurassic Coast through Lyme Regis, Bridport and Weymouth.
From Weymouth, we head inland across Dorset on faster A roads towards Salisbury, through Stockbridge and onwards home — finishing the weekend with another exhilarating 250 miles (depending on your final destination).
